Group email that users can't use

HiI’m wanting to setup an internal group email address that our intranet site can use to send alerts to all users. Because of this I need the group to have a standard email address like 123@domain.com so the website understands.

My problem is that when the email is sent from the intranet site to 123@domain.com I don’t want users to be able to see the address 123@domain.com and then be able to use it by copying it from the “to” field and then be able to send an email to all staff themselves.

thanks for any help you can give on this

Subject: you can’t send a mail to invisible group

so you need external address (on smtp relay maybe)and then redirect to group address wich is hidden (by uncheking “All reader s & above” in doc property)

ugly but it seem can works

Subject: Use the BCC Field instead?

Maybe I am missing something obvious, but couldn’t you just put the email address in the BCC field instead of the TO field?
