I have a distribution list (named Weekly Targeted e-mail) that has several personal e-mail addresses plus embeds other Group distribution lists from my address book. When I try to send a note using it, I get the following error: “No names found to send mail to”. Embedded group distribution lists, including this one, has worked for me for years, but stopped working about 2 weeks ago. I recreated the list. Deskside support reinstalled Notes 8 and I re-entered all of my group distribution lists manually. But the problem is still occuring. Now the HELP desk told me they will not support this issue.

after entering the adress and pressing F9 what happens? did you try to rename the group and use the new name?
Subject: Expand Personal Groups
The problem with local groups is that they are not known on the server On F9 it usually checks all mail addresses. It seems you’ve entered the preference ‘Not expand personal Groups’ in the “Delivery Options”
Try to remove that flag and then Press ‘F9’ → it should expand the groups and ask you on ambiguous names.
Then it should work.

I entered a new name and tried f9 and nothing happens. What is supposed to happen?
Also, I tried changing the title and it still doesn’t work. I have several distribution lists that have other distribution lists embedded in them and none of these will work for me. It seems to recognize simple names within the list but not distribution list names that are embedded in a distribution list.
