Has anyone ever seen this before? Once these folders are created, anything put in them can’t be retrieved. How can I access the documents in these folders and remove these folders?

Ed,check wether the foldername contains a backslash ("").
In that case, the string left to the backslash displays as a “green” folder but it is not.
To rename/remove, open the database in designer (or right-click the folder and choose “design folder” from context menu)
