I had Google Desktop working with Notes 8.5.1 on my previous laptop but cannot install it properly now. There are 2 differences between my old and new laptop - Windows 7 vs. XP and data (archived emails, emails for local copy,…including notes.ini) is in my profile and not in C:\Program Files\Lotus\Notes.
I tried following:

closed LN
-
added AddinMenus=notesgdsplugin.dll to notes.ini

installed latest Google Desktop Enterprise 5.9.1005.12335 (no errors during install and it seems to run ok)

started LN as an administrator
-
Action → Google Desktop for Notes…and it’s not there
*searched for notesgdsplugin.dll but cannot find it
Please help!
