GMT settings but date in US format

Hi guys - annoying client problem…

Got a user whose date format in his inbox, all docs view, folders and views in other Notes databases appear in US format (MM/DD/YYYY) instead of UK/GMT (DD/MM/YYYY). If I open up his mail file on my PC, the date format is fine so I know it’s a client problem. Here’s what I’ve done so far:

Replaced the cache.ndk, desktop.ndk and names.nsf

Checked location doc settings which are set to get operating system’s time zone settings which is set to GMT.

File - Mobile - Edit current time/phone shows the right time zone.

Windows regional settings are set correctly. Tried setting time zone to something random, applying, closing Notes, setting back to GMT, applying and launching Notes and still no joy.

Checked date/time format in Windows control panel and it’s all set correctly to DD/MM/YYYY.

Local desktop team have rebuilt the user’s windows profile.

I’ve been sent the user’s ini file and all time/date lines are identical to my own but time stamps for things like cert checked, etc are stamped with US date/time format.

Anyone got any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks for anything you can think of! This is driving me mad.

Em.

Emma,

Have you checked the iDate and sShortDate settings in the registry (under HKEY_USERS<check for all SIDs listed

and .Default>\Control Panel\International.

iDate should be set to 1 and sShortDate dd/MM/yyyy

Regards,

Calvin
