If I have the backend notesdocument, ho do I get it into the uiview. I need to use uiview.print?

Not sure what you mean to be honest. The backend document doesn’t have a uiview associated with it.
You say you want to print a uiview, you can only do this if you have a view open, and it will print either the selected documents or the view itself
