Open nnotesws.dll with some hex editor.2) Search for the “ReturnReceipt” string.
-
Replace it with a random ASCII string of the same length (e.g. “RetrunReceipt”)
-
Live your admin life and forget about this silly sneaky self-enforced “feature”.
Tested on 7.0.3, should work with any version.
NB: Don’t forget to make a backup copy first.

I think I understand - You want to remove return receipts from messages that you get?
This is what I do:

Yes, this works well on a single or a few databases, and as long as its design does not get updated too often. That’s OK for the end-user, not for an administrator managing a few hundred or thousand mailboxes.
My solution works on any database (user or router mailbox), and without any design change.
Well, until you upgrade your own Notes client, obviously.
May be useful to the user that does not have admin rights to his mailbox too.

Hi,
not for an administrator managing a few hundred or thousand mailboxes…there is a new feature called a template
, and without any design change. mmmmmm…playing with DLL …I would love to check with the support.
I think the design change would be more appropriate than a dll change.
my 2 cents,
