Getting references to Field objects

Is there any way to generate a list of Field objects for the currently open document? These would be the same objects that are passed into a field’s Entering or Existing event (Source As Field). I haven’t been able to come up with any way to access them other than putting code into the Entering event, which defeats the purpose of what I’m trying to accomplish. I’m not ready yet to discuss what that is in detail, but I need to get object references to the Fields to get there. :slight_smile:

This question has been asked numerous times, but nobody has ever provided an answer. I know it must be possible, otherwise how would Notes pass them around? I’ve dug around with various Win32 API calls and oddly enough I can find references to comboboxes and action bar buttons, but that’s pretty much it.

Any help or insight anyone can provide would be tremendously appreciated.

No. It’s bad to hear that nobody has said it yet in the numerous threads. But the answer is no, there is no way to do that.

Of course you can access field info in many different ways, but you cannot create Field objects.
