Getting all items in a Field

Hi,

I have a field which has more than one value. Say

A,b,c,d.

I want to get all these values into one variable and display that variable to User. How can i go about doing this. Can anyone help me on this.

say if u have a field name fld1 which has values a,b,c,d

then to get each of the values you can do a split operation.

eg:

dim temp as string

temp=uidoc.getitemvalue(“fld1”)(0)

now to get each value in the field just do

dim var as variant

var=split(temp,“,”)

here iam priniting each value

Forll s in var

Msgbox s

End forall

if you want to concatenate each value in to a single one

just do something like this

dim strl as string

Forall s in var

strl=strl+s

End forall

Msgbox strl

You can Google with a lot of functions in domino designer help just check out performing string operations in Lotus script. it has quite lot of stuff.
