I’ve got an agent that takes incoming email and PREpends it to a rich text field of a document in a target database.
I get the contents of the email using
emailText$ = emailDoc.GetFirstItem(“Body”).text
I get the contents of the target field using
issueText$ = doc.GetFirstItem(“Issue”).text
I prepend the email by doing
targetText$ = emailText$ + + issueText$
By logging the sizes of the fields each time the agent processes a new email, I found instances (random at this point) where
issueText$ = doc.GetFirstItem(“Issue”).text
returns only part of the content. It’s not the same amount of data missing.
Has anyone heard of this? Had a problem?
