GetFirstItem is not setting

I have some very simple code that is not working…

Dim view as NotesView

Dim doc as NotesDocument

Dim joblist as NotesItem

…

Set doc = view.GetFirstDocument

Set joblist = doc.GetFirstItem(“joblist”)

The view is fine, the doc is fine, the field “joblist” is on the doc (I can see it in the debugger on the Item list), but the script is not setting the NotesItem. It is for some docs, but not for all.

I have never had a problem with GetFirstItem before. Anyone ever see this?

Subject: GetFirstItem is not setting

Normally this would occur if the selected document in the view did indeed not have the Joblist field.
