We have just upgraded from 5.0.7 to 6.0.1 CF3.
We are getting several errors messages with the Full Text Indexing of many databases. I have searched all online forums and cannot find ANY info regarding these errors.
Full Text message: Rename error. From: …\database.ft\ftgi#temsupp To: …\database.ft\ftgi\Itemsupp errcode = 1806 errno = 13 (Permission denied)
I will be raising a call, but any assistance would be great.
We have run compact, fixup and updall -R -X. We have deleted the indexes and recreated and it still apears.

I work with Craig, and thought I would feedback to the forum. This problem was resolved by disabling the realtime anit-virus software on the server.
For some reason the file permisson issue did not exist when running with Domino R5 servers. From Lotus’s documentation, the code the looks after the FT Indexes is different in R6.
I would imagine that different anti-virus software may not exhibit the same problem, otherwise this forum would be full of these posts.
