I am installing mutiple servers for mail access to about 1000 users; all remotely either by Notes client replicated mailbox or inotes web access.
I want to promote inotes access because this will bring down the need of client management support. However, it brings some limitations as well.
One of them is forcing implementation of FT Index. With inotes, it forces to keep Full text index to be able to search. If I do this, it is expected to increase load on server.
I will be configuring clustered servers and Transaction logging. Will and how it will affect to reduce risk of Indexes being corrupted. I have seen at times in R5 that corrupted Index have even crashed server.
Any Inputs from experts ??
