We have databases that are occasionally empty or filled with several thousand documents. When there are documents in the database the full text index is updated and there are agents which perform ftSearches on the database.
Even when there are no documents in the database the size of the full text index is not being reduced after an update. So, after a few cicles of creating documents, updating the index, searching and deleting documents, the index size grows to several hundred MB.
Is there anything I can do to prevent it from growing?
