Is the locale settings important for searching the full text index?Cause I have one machine RH 7.3 that indexes/searches properly word attachment that are in unicode format (i checked with a simple editor) and have another linux (not RH) that indexes/searches word attachments that are in win1250 format.
I tried to set LOCALE settings to different values also to utf8, but the searcher on the other linux finds properly the docs with win1250 and I cant reverse it to properly find the unicode word format (which is better).
I have this behaviour with domino 6.0.3, 6.5 and 6.5.1 versions, all behave the same.
On what depends how the attachments are parsed? I know that domino uses KeyView tools but there is no difference in whatever INI settings I make.
Otherwise domino does not signals any log or error.
