Subject: Same here…
Rob,
I had the same error. After deleting the index I recreated it and now it looks like that:
Is it the same with you?

Subject: Re-create FTI
I got the same error trying to search, and after I deleted and re-created the FTI searching worked.
Maybe not the preferred resolution, but it seems to work and is better than no search at all.
Subject: That is the recommended procedure
To fix a bug with existing indexes on Intel Macs, the format of the index data had to be changed slightly, which means you will need to rebuild indexes from previous betas. Development is looking into detecting the old format automatically and prompting you to rebuild the index rather than incorrectly displaying the out of memory error.
Subject: Did you uninstall Beta 1 before installing Beta 2?
I’m not seeing this - the recommendation is to uninstall and reinstall (I’m following up on the release notes).
Sarah
Subject: I did not, but
I used uninstaller after the update (and after you told us that update is not supported), rebooted and installed beta 2 again. If there’s any other recommendation please let us know.
Missing searching capabilities in Notes is horrible…
Thanks,
Thomas
