I am working in an environment where the goal is to provide complete synchronization of Notes passwords with Active Directory. We have investigated and tested the Notes 6.5.1 client single sign-on option, which works when the password is changed on the Win workstation, or in AD when a force password change is specified. If it is changed in AD without the force reset option, the passwords become out of sync. You can resolve this, but it is not seemless.
We have also looked into ADSync which will sync Active Directory and Dommino address books. Unfortunately, the functionality does not support sync-ing the passwords to the local id file (as required), only the internet password.
Is there a way using AdminP to realize this, as is done with ‘name change’?
The optimal solution must be able to support kiosk configurations where multiple Notes users access the client through a single Win workstation.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
