When entering new contacts in the PAB, Notes automatically fills in the ‘Full name’ field under the ‘Advanced’ tab, in the format “FirstName LastName.”
If the Full Name is in the form “Joe Green” the type-ahead function works fine, returning ‘Joe Green’ whether I start out ‘joe g’ or ‘gree’.
If the Full Name is in the form “Green, Joe” then the type-ahead function fails no matter which name, first or last, I start with.
Even though Notes correctly fills in the ‘Full Name’ field, every few days or weeks the ‘Full Name’ field gets reversed - Joe Green becomes Green, Joe. I can delete the entry (make it blank) and Notes will correctly enter ‘Joe Green’ in the Full Name field when I click ‘Save and Close’. The type-ahead function will then work flawlessly, for another few days or weeks. This problem causes complete failure of Group addresses.
Has anyone else seen this issue? It happens whether or not I have my PAB listing set to ‘Firstname Lastname’ or ‘Lastname, Firstname.’
