After Admin 2003, we found the trick to delete databases you did not have right to by setting the Full Access Admin flag. Got back and went to set it, and it came back and told me “You do not have full access admin rights…” to our server(s).
Any ideas?

To turn Full Admin features, you need to do two things (so it does not happen accidently): proper set up in the server record and then either put your client in that mode via UI, or if you are doing in the agents use designer to set the mode. You can find more details on this in the article where I describe ND6 features for agents (link in the Agetn FAQ).

The server record was what I missed. I added the user to both server documents and now all is well. Thanks so much.

In the Admin client, click on Administration, then Full Access Administration. This will enable the Full Access that you need to delete the databases.

That is where I did it.

You did put yourself in the Full Access Administrators group in the server document for the specific server you try to access?

Nope…guess I missed that one at the seminar. I’ll do that.
Thanks much for the reply.

Server doc - Security tab - Full Access Administrators field. Add the people who should be able to use that feature, which should obviously be a small number of folks since that bypasses all ACLs, roles, etc.
