FTI and automatic update

Just wondering if anyone can answer this as I cant find anything that answers my question. I have set the server task to update the FTI of my database at 2am every day. However if someone manually updates the FTI withing 24 hours the auto update doesnt happen. Why is that? And is there any way to make it do it at 2am whether it has been manually updated or not?

Hello ,

I’m not sure what could be the problem when u manualy create FTI and server task.

But instead, u can run a Scheduled agent every day at 0200 AM and update the database FTI .
