How do you display your results when you use FTSearch through a LS Agent? My results currently are shown in $$SearchTemplateDefault in the $$Viewbody field by passing URL parameters. Also, how does the results get created with links? Do you need to generate tags around the results in the LS Agent so that they are clickable? Or is that taken care of for you?

With no agent, your form works on the web. You must get the user to an URL with ?SearchView
in it. Domino generates the links you need.
But if ?SearchView doesn’t do what you need, your LS agent can Print whatever you want. In this case the agent handles the formation of all the tags.

FT Search returns a DocumentCollection object. You can’t display an object on the web. Or in Notes for that matter. If you want to display the results of that search, you’ll have to use something like PutInFolder to put the results in a private on first use folder and display that folder from the web.
If you simply open that folder on the web, Notes will create links for you, but the look is horrendous. You need to customize the appearance using a $$ViewTemplate (even if it is a folder).
If you are using a 100% HTML view, you will need to code the a href tags into the column formula you want to be clickable.

Thanks Luc! I wasn’t sure if I could put the doc collection in a folder and then use a $$ViewTemplate. That answers my question!
