If I create a an archive setting and choose On My Notes Client to: - My server, the first time I run the archive instead of create the archive database on the My Server, it creates it on Local. And the weird thing is that the archive log file is created on the server. I’m using R6.5.3 and 6.5.4.Any Ideas?

You should check with your Notes administrator about this. When I try to do the same action you describe, I see this message: “Server based archiving will be done when the server task compact runs with -a or -A”. It maybe that your server cannot accept an archive. But can accept the log file for the archive which would be created after the compaction process runs with the aforementioned switch applied.
