Freetime and meeting scheduling

I have had several users whose Freetime doesn’t show when scheduling.

I find some instances are caused when the user changes their name. AdminP sometimes never catches up.

If this is not the case, I open the users tools/preferences tab and change the display and scheduling times and save the changes.

It seems that this jumpstarts the users busytime.

This is part of the magic that keeps me in a state of constant wonder.

Hi,

Your direction is right, but you don’t have to bring all the server down.

I don’t have the details here, but you can only stop the sched task, delete the busytime, then bring the sched back to recreate and populate the file.

Sometimes when this happens, freetime is corrupted. What I have been told to do, is take down the server, delete the busytime.nsf database, restart the server, and the database gets recreated and works again.
