Hi.We are using the Exchange Calendar Connector to do free/busytime-lookups to Exchange.
It works fine with Notes client 6.5.3 but when I use Notes 8.0.2 it doesn’t work.
When I do a lookup from 6.5.3 I can se in teh serverconsole that it connects to the Exchange server but nothing happens when I use 8.0.2. Looks like the client don’t even tries to connect.
Is there any settings for the client I have to do?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Looks like it is the mailbox/calender-design that makes the difference. When I do the lookup from a calendar with 6.5.3-design the lookup works.
ALL busytime lookups go to your Home Server unless you are in Island mode in which case they get serviced locally. This behavior has been unchanged since 4.5 when we added it for C&S.
The basic transaction to do the lookup has been unchanged since R6 and is not template or client specific. Your 6.0 client / template will do the exact same NRPC call that the 8.51 client / template makes. What has changed over time is how the Exchange Connector works (or not as the case may be).
I suggest you contact Technical Support to look closer at the problems.
