I found that if jusched.exe or jucheck.exe are running, then FP5 will not install. Both had to be stopped with task manager before FP5 would install. The fix pack gives you no indication of what happens, just that it failed to install core fix components.
Is there any reason for this, I know the notes client is based on Java, but having to end these two task, which run on most machines now days, seems a little bit ridiculous. Shouldn’t the installer from IBM take care of this, you know, if these exe’s are running, kill, then install.
Also this FP seems to take a long time to install, much longer than FP3 ever did.
