Is there a way to forward an email without opening it ? We forward suspicious emails to our spam cop for review. So if an email might be infected we don’t want to open it, we just want to forward it. Any sugestions ?

You could create a mail rule.

But I don’t want it to be automatic. I want to view the sender and subject first.

Why can’t you simply select the mail in the view or folder and then select Actions / Forward ?
Subject: Also the actual header info is lost.
I would suggest and agent that would pull the smtp header info into the new doc.I do this to allow the admin staff to see the original smtp header so they can adjust the rules accordingly
On openntf, the openmail use to have a action to forward the header into only. Take a look.
Subject: I guess because it would open by this (a href= could be calling home and alike).
I guess it
a) would have to be programmed
or b) you could ‘forward’ per copy and paste into a database where all users are only archivar (just like mail.box).
Subject: Two basic problems
The first is that it destroys the headers. The second is that it goes ahead and retrieves images and all, thus notifying the sender that the e-mail is valid, which is the last thing you want in a suspicious e-mail.
