(Actual release is 8.5, but this is not selectable in the combo above)Hello,
When somebody forwards a meeting invite to me using: Actions → Forward, I get it as an email that I can not act upon. Especially I can’t Accept, Add to Calendar, etc.
Thanks.
Subject: Delegate, not Forward
If a meeting invitee would like for you attend in their place and be able to accept the meeting, they need to Delegate the invitation to you from the Action menu while viewing the invite. If they wish you to attend in addition, they should ask the meeting chairperson to add you to the calendar entry using the Add Invitee button.
Of course, when viewing the forwarded invite, you can always use the More | Copy Into New | Calendar Entry option from the action bar and set the times yourself from the info now in the body of the new Calendar Entry.
BTW, there is an 8.5 version-specific forum available at:

Subject: Re: Forwarding calendar invites
Ok, my issue was: the meeting organizer had me in the list of attendees, but I never received that invite (another mystery…). So he forwarded the invite again to me. I guess he should have removed me, then added again.
I saw the 8.5 forum after posting this request. However, I initially ended up here after clicking Help → Support → IBM Support Assistant → Product Information → Newsgroup discussion for Lotus Notes, which ends up here: http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd8forum.nsf
So I guess there’s a wrong link here.
Thanks for your help.
