Does anyone know how to fwd a part of the current open document and edit the body of the email. I also want to set the subject and cc based on the document selected and also edit the body of the mail. Users want to modify the sendto field too.

Subject: Forward uidoc & edit it
In LotusScript, the function NotesUIDocument.Forward, or the @Command( [Forward]) function will create a new version of your document, the same as clicking the Forward button.
You can then set the Subject, SendTo, CC field etc.
Changing the body is a little more difficult - you will need to save the new document, close it, manipulate the rich text field then re-open the document.
There is plenty of help in this forum on manipulating rich text fields.
However it almost sounds as if it would be easier to create a new email from scratch.
