HiWe have several mailin databases, each handled by more than one user. DB properties set to “Mark parent note on reply or forward”. When a user opens a mailin database and forwards a message, the forward icon does not display in the inbox. Therefore other users can’t see, which mails have been forwarded for further actions, and which mails have not.
I looked into this and found that the $RespondedTo field is created on a mail, whenever you respond og forward a mail, resulting in the correct viewicon appearing in folders and views. When responding to a mail in a mailin database the field $RespondedTo is created correct with the value “1”. When forwarding the value should be “2”. When both responding and forwarding the value should be “3”. The ViewIcon appear correctly in the inbox when any user responds, but when forwarding a mail, the field is NOT created. Anybody knows why? My guess is it’s a bug.
Changing the mailowner field of a mailin database to a user, and making this user open the database and forward a mail works perfect. So I guess forwarding a mail from any mailbox you are not the owner of, does result in the view icon NOT appearing correctly.
Anybody knows of a workaround? Or bugfix?
