Trying to forward an email actually forwards many additional emails, appends them to the bottom of the desired email.Seems to be happening with people using the preview option and forwarding out of that. Any one ever see this before?

Are the useres not selecting more than one message when they do a forward? It sounds like they may have a “selected” mark on multiple emails when the forward action is selected.

No, only selecting one doc. Seems to happen only when using preview pane and the info appended to the bottom is from the trash folder.?

I have the same problem. When the person forwards mail (also in preview pane) the email that was last deleted (now in trash) gets put in the body of the mail. I am trying a few things and will let you know if any thing works. Have you found a solution yet?

I having the same problem. When a user drags several emails to Trash and then goes back to their Inbox and selects a doc to Forward - all docs that were dragged to Trash appear in the Forwarded message.
We are running 6.2 clients with soft delete - if this helps. Are users were not using Preview Pane at the time.

This happens to me all the time, so if anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate them! I also read my mail using my preview pane. I will have the e-mail I want to forward highlighted in the Inbox and I can see the contents in the preview pane. When I click Forward, it sometimes (not all the time) forwards things from my trash.
We’re also running 6.0.2 CF1 on both the server and clients.

One more thing. In my case, this only seems to happen right after I delete multiple e-mails. I can delete one e-mail at a time, and then forward e-mails with no problem. If I delete multiple e-mails and then use ‘forward’, it only forwards the e-mails I just deleted. It doesn’t even include the e-mail I intended to forward. Clear as mud?

I have experienced the same problem and I know why. I just don’t know if there’s a fix.If you were to select multiple documents in your inbox and click forward it will include all the selected documents into the forwarded message.
What’s happening is when you select multiple emails for deletion and then drag them into the trash they stay selected in the trash view.
(You can verify this by, if you hold the CTRL key while changing views it will retain the selection marks between views).
So when you forward an email it grabs all selected and includes them.
This has become a pretty big deal with our decision to move forward with an R6 upgrade.
