Subject: RE: Formula for Subform, why isn’t it working?
I think I know the reason now, my subform supposed to be inserted based on value of StatusField, however, once loaded, subform won’t work if refresh within document, need to save and reopen, but this will not help, since when I upload my data, the subform need to be loaded with the relevant fields at that point of time. The form will not load this subform, as data has not been updated when document first being updated. (unless I just make them the relevant default value, everytime I need to upload them, but this require changes in form design elements).

Sorry, I am still at early stage of lotus script, will need to study first how to write it. Would very much appreciate if you can share you code, should you already have it. Anyway, thanks for your tip, junior learner.

ok, since u r new to LS then try the programmable table easier.
first both of ur subforms in programmable table - in the form itself.
1.let’s name the title SubA & SubB.
put all the contents you want accordingly in SubA & SubB.
3.go to the HTML Name/ID, maybe name it sel
4.then create a selection field. must start with $ and must same with the HTML name/id. i.e.: $sel - logically this selection field should be before/above the programmable table - so users don’t confuse.
auto-refresh everything.
remark:
I don’t mind to share you my LS but a lot of changes you need. if you still want, pls request. the above should help!

You could try putting your sub-form formula in a view column: The column will display the name of the sub-form which will be loaded, if the formula is correct. This can let you build up your formula bit-by bit to work out where the problem lies.
