Is there any formula that is equivalent to the LotusScript ASC function, that returns the ascii value of a letter. @Ascii strips out non-ascii characers, but I need something that tells me that “A” = 65

Have to roll your own, eg

ASCLIST = “0” : “1” : “2” … up to “z”;

(in order of ascii value)

ASCVALUE = @Member(ASCLIST ; mychar) + 47;

@Return @If(ASCVALUE = 47 ; 0 ; ASCVALUE)
