I’m displaying a link in a Rich Text field using the following LotusScript…
Dim workspace As New NotesUIWorkspace
Dim doc As NotesDocument
Dim rtitem As Variant
Set uidoc = workspace.CurrentDocument
Set doc = uidoc.Document
While doc.HasItem(“Link”)
Call doc.RemoveItem("Link") 'Clears any prior value
Wend
Set rtitem = doc.CreateRichTextItem(“Link”)
Call rtitem.AppendDocLink(doc, “Link to the document”, doc.Title(0))
Call doc.Save( False, False, False )
QUESTION: This displays with the usual Notes green box around the hotspot. How can I get rid of this and use blue underlining instead?

Make sure the doc.Title(0) really has a value, and is not named something else.

I am not sure how to avoid the box. I have looked through the forum and teh designer help.
Cheers,

There is not a way to avoid the box if you use AppendDocLink.
You could use passthru HTML to create an “” link and use a Notes URL to loink to the document.

Oh yeah, sorry, I misunderstood the question. I forgot the native method had that limitation.

That sounds like the most workable option. Thanks to everyone for the replies!
