I have a form that I want in Edit mode when someone opens it. I have the option On Open - Automatically Enable Edit Mode set on the form properties, and I have Manager rights to the db. Yet, it only opens in Read mode for me.
Anyone ever seen this before? What might be a cause?

OK - After much trial and error, I found that if I have the form properties for Auto Frame set, it does not open in Edit mode, but if I remove the Auto Frame values, it opens in Edit mode properly.
However, this presents a whole different issue…now it’s opening full-screen and with no frameset. I want the form to open in the frameset from which it was launched.

Suspect you have some failed process happening on the open. Perhaps a bad queryopen event or a computed formula that is failing.

To test that, I have removed all hidden fields and all computed, computed for display, etc. field. No luck. I guess I will try removing fields one by one until I hit upon something. Thanks for the suggestion.
