Form in Notes and Combobox

Hi,I created a form containing some fields

when I open the form in Notes the fields take their default values but when i open the same form in a dialogbox i get nothing

HI…Check if do you have those fields outside the layout region or table if at all you have used? Cos those fields wont be displayed when u open it from dialog box…

Hithe problem is that i affect values to those fields in the onload action of the form.

those values appears when i open the document in Notes but don’t when i open it in the Dialogbox

Is there some reason you don’t use the ‘Default Value’ property of the field to set your default value?Is the default value you assign not available for some reason when the form is a dialog box?

Is the document getting created before you open it as a dialog, and somehow the field defaults to [nothing], so when you open it as a dialog, it is [nothing] (I had this problem a few times)?
