Foring target to iframe

Been stuck in this problem for a while, and hope you can help out.

I’ve got a main database, accessed via web. I have a section there that goes to a different form that contains an iframe. The iframe has views from another database.

This all works fine, changing views, actual records display etc.

At the home page, I show the last 6 updates (also in an iframe). I want to the users to be able to click on one of those updates, load the appropriate form and display the actual record directly in the iframe.

Is this a pipedream ???

JavaScript in the onload for the “container” form should do it:

var links = document.frames[0].document.getElementsByTagName(‘a’);

for (var i=0; i<links.length; i++) {

if (links[i].href) {

links[i].target = ‘_self’;

}

}
