Forcing Hold in mail.box

Hi all

This is a question or a suggestion…

I came to the office this morning to find 2 of my servers on their knees because of a warning coming from one of the other system…

That system was sending 800plus messages a minute. \

Mail.boxes (3 of them) filled up and ran out of space.

As soon as we could, we put a HOLD rule on that sender but I would love to be able to open the mail.boxes and simply selecting messages and putting them on hold so I can restart the router…

Anything like that exist?

Subject: Dealing with Excessive Mail

Hi Jacques,

I don’t know that there is anyway to deal with this out of the box. We have a tool that can quickly remove or quarantine these messages temporarily. Contact me at rganness@metalogic.ca.
