I’ve been working on some policies and I can’t seem to get DCC to work consistently so I can check if the policies are doing what I need to. It seems to have a mind of it’s own and runs when it feels like it.
DCC is as far as I understand what is responsible to replicate the policy from the Domino directory to the users address book.
I found this http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21136836 however the option it refers to doesn;t seem to be in the 8.5 / 8.5.1 client anymore(actions>remove address book preferences).
As I understand it, once you have restarted the client and have authenticated by accessing a database on your administration or mail server, DCC should then run, but it doesn’t seem to be working for me consistently (it generally only runs twice a day even if I have restarted the client and opened databases more than a dozen times).
Am I misunderstanding something regarding DCC? Does anyone know a good way to force DCC to run on a notes 8.5/8.5.1 client?
