We are currently seeing a spike in CPU on a Domino server running 6.5.5 on AIX. When running topas, which displays the server processes and CPU utilization, it shows that the server process is much higher than normal. It usually runs at 25 - 35% and it’s currently hovering around 85%. Is there a way to identify what exactly the server process is so busy doing? I’ve heard of the truss command, but do not have any experience with it. Does anyone have any ideas to troubleshoot what is making the server so busy? There is nothing out the ordinary in the logs or doing a live console.
