hi all
i was getting an incredible malfunction since several month.
all the text on the login and other popups was barcoded.
I found a file named 3of9.ttf in /home/user/.fonts folder. So i delete it and now the text is readable.
In fact, the notes client seems to get the first alphabeticaly sorted font file from this folder.

Have you installed “ttf-xfree86-nonfree” ?
The notes client is supposed to use these fonts if they are available.

No, this package was not installed on the target system. I believed it was :-/
Why is it not listed in the dependencies instead of recommendations??
