Since upgrading our servers to domino6, when replying to mails the initial font size in the body increases.
Eg: I receive a email sent from another source eg outlook. I reply to that mail using “reply with history”, the recipient replies to that mail again (also with history) and when that arrives in lotus the font size of the original text (when he first sent me the mail) has increased. If the same mail goes back and fourth a few times with all the text/history in the body, notes somehow increases the font size every time it arrives (or gets sent out?).
I have had mails where the font size in the body is as bigger than 36 points (especially the first message of text from the original mail.)
Is this a server setting? This also happens for users using the old 4.6 template. How could I fix this so that the font never increases?
Subject: Font gets bigger and bigger between replies
We’ve seen the same problem. I’m guessing that changing the user’s person document to “no preference” instead of “prefers Notes Rich Text” for the format of incoming mail will fix the problem. We’ve had issues with Notes 6.5 converting an SMTP e-mail to Notes Rich Text and either increasing the font size or removing entire paragraphs. The setting change fixed the missing paragraph issue, but I haven’t tested the increased font size problem yet.
