I’m not sure I am understanding the problem. By “left corner” do you mean the follow up view that displays beneath the navigator on the left side of the screen (when you have your Inbox open)?
If so, where is this user clicking? Is he clicking on a message in that view? Is he clicking on an action button? What was in the window that you say opened, when he clicked?
You need to double-click on a message in that “mini-view” in order to open it. Single-clicking won’t open the message.
Maybe it was a coincidence that he happened to click on the message when the follow up alarm was appearing - and he thought that the click caused the alarm to appear?
I talked with the user,What he ment was that when he has the follow ups in the little window on the left bottom,
he needs (indeed Debbie) to dubble click the follow up message to view the “action”.
In the earlier version of Notes the user only had to hover over the follow ups to view the action.
For a temporarily solution I told him to click in the left “inbox menu” on “Follow Ups” where you see al the follow ups in your mailbox. As long as he cleans up his mailbox this will work. But in the future he will need another solution…?
What I liked in my 7.xx Notes was preview of follow up items. Clicking on follow up item in miniview would bring up that e-mail in preview pane. In 8.5 I have to double click to open separate tab with follow up item.
Is there any way to enable preview for follow ups in “Mail” view?
