- I have a folder for PMRs, active ones on top sorted by number, closed ones on the bottom sorted by number. Sadly Notes doesn’t seem to do sorting.

I put closed ones on the bottom by prepending an “x” to the folder name. Since numbers appear before letters in the standard collating sequence, this should move them to the bottom. It does not. Instead the renamed folder stays right were it is. So I move it out of the PMR folder and put it back in. poof Sorted just like I want it. These extra steps are silly.

Today, however, I’m down to only one open PMR. When I do the move out/move back dog and pony show, it puts that one numeric-only PMR on the bottom. In addition, the closed PMRs (prepended with “x”) are not sorted at all. This is annoying.

Naturally I searched here, and in this instance found nothing. I also see nothing regarding active sorting in the folder context menu, and if I open Preferences and type “sort” in the search bar I get zero hits.

Sure, I can move my closed PMRs to another folder. That’s not the point. The point is that trivially basic functionality appears to be missing, plus drag and drop does nothing to correct it. Does anyone else see this, or am I (again) the only one?
Thanks for your time…
