I have recently upgraded to 8.5.1 after cleaning up all my data with “updall –R –X” then "fixup –F and finally “compact –c –i” - i installed traveler 8.5.1 and all seemed well. However… when i was starting to work with my mail database - i realized that some of the folder structure was no longer there, all the mail that was previously sorted into them was still in the database but not the folder structure…
SO - i had a backup of the database from before the upgrade - restored that and copied all the mail that had come in since the restore - and re-filed it and replicated it up to the server…
HOWEVER - after running for a couple of days i find that the re-constructed application has now lost the same part of filing structure… i presume there is some error somewhere within the application which causes the the folder views to get dumped…
My question is this… what process/steps would i have to use to clean up the backup mail.nsf to ensure that the folder structure remains and is “clean” and up-to-date
Clients are XP and OSX, server is Win Server 2003.
thanks in advance.
