Folder missing

One of my user lost all his folders in his mailbox. He has this problem immediate after the system prompt to him the error message “Update status after login”. I have tried the following,

load updall mail\abc.nsf -C

but no luck. The folder still not appearing.

I can see the folders if I use Domino Administrator Client (Fiels tab : Database > Manage Views)

Anyone out there has any idea how to solve this problem?

that only happend once at one of my customers:is it possible that your user created private folders only? (desktop6.ndk compacted and workspace cache was set too low)

check in a backup if the folders are available.

if yes, the only possibility i see is to replace the mailfile by a restore (first backup mailfile as new copy) and manually copy/paste the new mails from the saved copy into the restore.

if the folders are in no backup

What you could try, too, is to open one of the folders in designer, save and close it to see what happens.
