Folder Link

My Goal: I have 2 Databases, that i use for storing data, in a server without domino. I whant to create a folder link in my domino server to the directory that contains those databases. My Work: I create a map network drive to the directory that contains my storage database, in the server with domino. This operation run sucessefully(can read or write in the drive using Windwos Explorer). Create a folder link in the Domino Administrator. I give a folder name and in the path i put the letter of my network drive ("G:").

Problem: In the moment i create the folder link the map network drive appears disconnected in the Windows Explorer, but using the Windows explorer I can read and write in the map network drive. In the domino Administrator i can do anything, i can even see the my storage database or the files in the map network drive.

This is bug or i need to do some tricks to make this work??

PS: I already try to do in anthoer domino server in linux and i have the same problem. This time i didn’t use a map network drive, i use a home directory in my folder link.
