Folder Expansion Grayed out on Lotus Notes 8.5.1

Hi,

I saw that folder expansion is grayed out on Lotus Notes client 8.5.1

IBM says using Shift+8 will Expand all collapse views, categories, or folders with subsections but that’s not happening. Expanding a folder has to be done manually and no keyboard shortcut works for it.

However the same shortcut key works for LN6.

Can someone suggest or refer me a workaround??
