I realize that when I replace the design of the mail database from notes 5 to 6.5 the folders designs remains unchanged. On the other side the new folders that i create have the right design. Can you please let me know How to upgrade the folder design.Thank you all.

When you update the design of the mail files, you can do one of two things;
From the admin side, use the command
load convert -u
The -u flag tells the convert to replace the design of all custom folders in the database with the design of the Inbox.
On the client side, use the menu pick
Actions > Upgrade Folder Design
You will then get a message box, which tells you the folders will be upgraded to the Notes 6 design, and ask whether you want to do this ‘automatically’ (updates the design of all folders in the database) or ‘manually’ (allows you to select the folders whose design you wish to update.

Further to that information, I found in my environment that after running the LOAD CONVERT with “-u”, that wasn’t getting the JunkMail folder added to the upgraded DB unless I ran the LOAD CONVERT command again, this time, without the “-u” switch.
Odd, no?
