Focus issue with embedded sametime client

whenever someone starts a conversation or adds more to a new one (and ive switched to another app) the embedded sametime client window pops up above whatever application im currently using but doesnt take focus - so i cant type anything in it.

if i alt tab it takes me to the notes client, another alt tab takes me to sametime window - i have to click on the window to reply.

is there an option to not have this window pop up all the time but to flash its taskbar or system tray icon so i can deal with it when im ready? after all if im in the middle of doing something importatnt i dont want to have to stuff around getting back to it because sametime decided it was more important , but not important enough to take focus.

Subject: Change Notification Preferences…

Hi Raymond,

Have a look at this post,

http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/stforum.nsf/ShowMyTopicsAllFlatweb/cd19bc1c562c92bf852575d7001a4ca0?OpenDocument

You can deselect the option to bring the chat window to front in your notification preferences.

Hope this helps.
