Hi All,How can we come to know whether we are using Flat Naming or Hierarical naming structure.

Look at the user and server names from the ID files. If these have the forward slash character, you are using hierarchical names. You can look at the documents in the server’s NAMES.NSF or simply look at the name listed in the login dialog in your Notes client.
Its highly unlikely that you are using flat naming as starting with Notes and Domino R4 (in 1994?) hierarchical names were the default for any new certifiers that were created during the first Domino server setup. You can change the certifier for an ID to move it from flat to hierarchical.
